Trim

Throwing clay on the wheel is certainly what comes to mind first when we think about making pottery. For me though, trimming the pieces the day after is how I spend most of my time and is what I take the most pride in. Here is a very brief summary of my process from the initial cuts to reveal the foot to a final polishing with my much beloved pebble collected on an Icelandic beach surrounded by family on an idyllic summer afternoon.
